On 7th November, the Sports Department of Govt Degree College Thindim Kreeri organized a lively lemon race and plank competition within the college campus. This event provided a refreshing break from the monotony of the classroom, allowing students to engage in physical activities and foster a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition. The vibrant atmosphere and enthusiastic participation made the event a memorable one, reflecting the college's commitment to promoting physical fitness and team spirit among its students. The winners of the lemon race were Iqra Raheem (5th Semester), who secured the first place, followed by Rahie (1st Semester) and Snober Zahoor (3rd Semester) in second and third places respectively. In the plank competition, Junaid Ahmad Khanday (1st Semester) emerged victorious, with Muzamial Mohidin (5 Semester) and Ummer Farooq (5th Semester) taking the second and third positions. The program was skilfully coordinated by Dr. Javid Ahmad Bhat under the supervision of the esteemed Principal, Prof. Kowser Jan. The event not only showcased the students' athletic abilities but also highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities in holistic education. This successful event marked a significant step towards encouraging more students to engage in sports and develop a well-rounded personality.
