The NSS Unit of Govt Degree College Thindim Kreeri in collaboration with Department of Physical Education organized one day workshop on “Yoga and Pranayam”, as immunity boosters under the aegis of G20 summit on 20th March, 2023 in the College Campus.

Under the aegis of G20 summit, Sports Department of Govt Degree College Thindim Kreeri in collaboration with Army Camp Watergam organized sports mela on 16th March 2023 within the college campus.

IQAC in Collaboration with Debates and Seminar committee of the college conducted Focus Group Discussions on 06th March, 2023 on the theme “Equal Opportunities for Men and Women” in the seminar hall of the college. Six groups comprising of 5 students each were formed to discuss the topic. Equal opportunity was provided to deliberate on the theme.

Under the aegis of G20 Summit, Research and Incubation Cell of GDC Thindim Kreeri organized a mega event in collaboration with J & K State Science, Technology & Innovation Council Bemina, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir on 28th February 2023.

Quiz Competition Online

The motivation of students to celebrate National Science Day through presentations and different competition will encourage them to find scientific solutions to the unsolved problems. The interactions with experts in the field of science and social science through visual presentations will enable them to think towards the social issues in a better scientific way.

The Department of Environmental Science in Collaboration with NSS & Eco Club of this college celebrated National Bird Day under the patronage of Principal, Prof. Kounsar Jan on 5th January, 2023. At the outset, the speaker Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Wani discussed about the different bird species of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and their conservation status.

Mega Plantation drive 22 November, 2022

IQAC and Eco Club of GDC Thindim Kreeri organized a motivational lecture on Fit India 3.0 Programme on 3rd October 2022. The speaker Prof. Syed Mustafa (NSS Program Officer) gave an illustrious lecture on the aim and objectives of Fit India Program. The students were inspired to avail membership benefits of Fit India Programme.

The NSS unit of GDC Thindim Kreeri organized “The Fit India Freedom Run”. NSS program officer Dr. Syed Mustafa flagged off the run from college campus towards the culminating point near Kreeri. Fifty NSS volunteers and faculty members covered a distance of 3 KMs transversing from different Mohals of Kreeri village. Around 50 Kg of waste were collected by the volunteers during plug-run which was later disposed safely by following standard protocols.

All the students of this college are informed that on the eve of EID MILAD UN NABI a Naat and Speech competition will be held on 8th of October, 2022 in the seminar hall. The title for the speech competition is “PROPHET MOHAMMAD (S.A.W) ROLE MODEL FOR MODERN WORLD”. Students shall register their names with the undersigned.

The students of this college participated in different competitions of Gandhi Jyanti organized by GDC Baramulla on 26th September 2022. In the painting competition Mehvish Hilal of this college bagged 2nd prize. The Principal and the staff congratulate her on this achievement and wish her success in future endeavors.
