On the occasion of World Blood Donation Day, NSS unit in collaboration with Red Ribon Club of GDC Thindim Kreeri organized series of programmes on 14th June 2024 under the supervision of Worthy Principal Prof. Kounsar Jan. The programme started with the awareness lecture by Principal Prof. Kounsar Jan. She highlighted the importance of blood donation and provided inputs regarding importance of being well versed about different blood groups. Dr. Syed Mustafa stressed on the healthy life style and donation of blood as pious form of charity. A group of students displayed the colorful Rangoli presentation giving symbolic feel of blood donation. Later a rally was carried out by the students and volunteers of Red Ribbon Club carrying placards and sensitizing the public about the benefits of blood donation. Prof Mohamed Yaqoob coordinator RRC conducted the proceedings.
