The Department of Environmental Science in collaboration with IQAC organized an interactive session on environmental toxicants and reproductive health on 29^th May 2023 under the mission Lifestyle for the Environment. Worthy Principal Prof. Kounsar Jan presented welcome address wherein she deliberated on the importance of the topic. The invited guest speaker was  Dr. Nibedita Naha, Scientist E (ICMR) National Institute of Occupational Health Ahmedabad -who delivered a scientific lecture on different types of environmental toxicants and its impact on the reproductive health. The speaker discussed various causes and managements of Polycystic Ovary syndrome with the students and staff.   Dr. Naha also shared her scientific achievements and career opportunities in the field.  The lecture was followed by healthy interactive session with students. Vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Syed Mustafa Shah (IQAC coordinator) and the programme was coordinated by Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Wani and Prof. Mohd  Yaqoob under the guidance of Principal Prof. Kounsar Jan.
