The Research and Incubation Cell of GDC Thindim Kreeri, under the esteemed supervision of Worthy Principal Prof. Kounsar Jan, organized an enriching event to celebrate National Science Day on 28th February 2025. The event aimed to inspire and empower the youth of India to take on global leadership roles in science and innovation, contributing to the vision of a developed India (VIKSIT BHARAT). The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Zahid Hussain, who eloquently highlighted the significance of National Science Day and its historical context. He emphasized the crucial role of scientific advancements in the progress of the nation and the importance of nurturing young minds to drive future innovations. Following the welcome remarks, Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Wani, Assistant Professor of Environmental Science, took the stage to discuss the event's theme. He provided an insightful analysis of the current scientific scenario and how empowering Indian youth can lead to ground-breaking innovations that address global challenges. Dr. Wani stressed the importance of interdisciplinary approaches and the integration of environmental science in achieving sustainable development. Prof. Mohd Yaqoob then engaged the audience with his discussion on the interrelationship between social science and natural science. He underscored the significance of understanding societal dynamics and human behavior in conjunction with natural scientific principles to foster holistic development.  The event also featured enthusiastic participation from students of different semesters, who shared their thoughts and perspectives on the theme. Their speeches reflected a deep understanding of the subject and showcased their passion for scientific exploration and innovation.
