NSS and Eco Club, GDC Thindim Kreeri organized a mega plantation drive on the college campus on 24^th March 2025. Worthy Principal, Prof. Kounsar Jan inaugurated the event by planting the first flowering plant in a pot, symbolizing the institution’s dedication to creating a greener environment. Prof. Kounsar Jan interacted with the students and highlighted the importance of preserving nature and adopting eco-friendly practices in daily life. Her words inspired and motivated the participants to take collective responsibility for environmental conservation. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members, who collectively planted a variety of flowering plants in decorative pots placed strategically across the campus. The use of pots not only enhanced the visual appeal but also showcased a creative approach to incorporating greenery in limited spaces. The drive aimed to raise awareness about sustainable practices, support biodiversity, and improve the aesthetic ambiance of the college.
