Government Degree College Thindim Kreeri conducted week long activities under the aegis of   Digital JK Week 2023, a major event of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir with the objective for "Digital Empowerment of Citizens." Variety of programmes were conducted by IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell), the Debates and Seminar Committee and Research and Incubation Cell of this college. The programmes were conducted with the aim to create awareness among students and faculty members about various initiatives of Government of India towards digitization of Jammu & Kashmir. The Week Long activities started on 1^st September with a motivational lecture by the Principal Prof. Kowser Jan wherein she stressed upon all the participants to learn about different online services and promote the same.

During the Digital Mela, the college provided counselling services to more than 80 students, guiding them on various digital initiatives and services available. Furthermore, 55 college students updated their AADHAAR cards, facilitating their access to numerous UT and National-level scholarship schemes.

on 2^nd September, 2023, an inspiring lecture by Mr. Mohd Iqbal Magrey who highlighted various e-library initiates and their significance to the students and faculty members.

 On 4^th September, 2023 a programme on cyber fraud and precautions was conducted by Research and Incubation cell. Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Wani (Assistant Professor Environmental Science) was the resource persons. Dr. Wani advised the students to remain aware while performing online transactions. He highlighted the importance of online security in today’s world owing to the various threats posed by hackers and vested interests in the virtual spaces. The speaker cautioned the students to be very careful while using social media and urged them to make others aware of the online threats and safety measures.

 On 5^th September, 2023 Principal Kowser Jan kick-started the Bhrashtachar Mukt J&K week by administering a pledge to faculty members, officials and students on the eradication of corruption and the promotion of transparent and accountable governance.

On the concluding day (6^th September, 2023) GDC Thindim Kreeri in collaboration with Tehsil administration Kreeri organized awareness lecture on digital service. On this occasion, Tehsildar Kreeri Er. Mubashir Amin highlighted various online services and financial transitions that are being offered by Govt of Jammu & Kashmir in various offices. The primary objective of the event was to showcase and promote the digital initiatives and services provided by various government departments operating within the district. In addition to that a quiz competition on various digital services was also conducted in which 70 students participated and Nasir Ahmad Rather of 3^rd Semester bagged the first prize. During the same day, a Community Digital Awareness Programe was also conducted by NSS Unit of GDC Thindim Kreeri wherein students and faculty members interacted with local residents and made them aware about the online and digital services. All the programmes were conducted under the supervision of Worthy Principal, Prof. Kowser Jan.
