GDC Thindim Kreeri in collaboration with Police Drug Drug De Addiction Center, Baramulla organized awareness cum interaction session on “Drug De-addiction and its scenario in Jammu & Kashmir” under the aegis of Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations. The program was conducted in the seminar room of the college on 26^th September, 2023 and was attended by all the students and faculty members of the college. Prof. Syed Mustafa presented welcome address wherein he underscored the need for coordination between various stakeholders to curb the menace and make Jammu and Kashmir Drug free. The invited guest speakers Mr. Mohd Ashraf Mir (Counselor) and Mrs Uzma Qureshi (Social Worker) delivered awareness lectures on the theme. The speakers discussed various aspects of drug abuse, its scenerio and gave a thoughtful, scientific and moral lecture on the said topic. Prof. Mohd Yaqoob moderated the session and Dr. K. A Wani presented Vote of thanks. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Worthy Principal Prof. Kowser Jan.
