On 1^st June, 2024, a documentary on Land Restoration” Taking Root: A vision of Kenyan Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Wangari Maathai by Lisa Merton & Alan Dater” was screened under the theme “Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience' in the seminar Hall to commemorate World Environment Week, 2024. All the students of this college watched the documentary with zeal and enthusiasm. The message of the movie is “we must restore our environment and try to ensure that we don't fight, in order to avoid the land to get degraded”.  The event was organized by Department of Environmental Science and NSS Unit of this college under the supervision of Worthy Principal, Prof Kowsar Jan. The movie was screened by Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Wani (Assistant Professor) Environmental Science.
