On 22^nd February, 2025 Director Colleges, HED, Prof. (Dr.) Sheikh Aijaz Bashir accompanied by Mr. Javid Iqbal Dar from the Department of Planning, HED paid a visit to Government Degree College Thindim Kreeri to review the construction work of main college building and College academics. The officers were received by the Principal, Prof Kounsar Jan, senior faculty members of the college, civil society members and officials from executing agency J&K Housing Board at the construction site Thindim Kreeri.   The Director expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the construction works and was assured by the Managing Director of executing agency that the balance work will be completed within the stipulated time.  Dr. Bashir issued specific directives to the college administration to expedite the necessary arrangements and coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure a swift and efficient transition of academic work to already erected prefab structures. Thereafter, the Worthy Director, Prof. (Dr.)  Sheikh Aijaz Bashir accompanied by Principal, Prof Kounsar Jan, faculty members and other officers visited the makeshift campus at Kreeri where students warmly welcomed the guests. Director Colleges interacted with the students and was highly satisfied with the response. Principal Prof. Kounsar Jan apprised the Director with the issues and challenges that the college is currently facing. He conducted a thorough review of academic initiatives expressing his satisfaction with the college's overall progress.
