A day-long awareness programme on traffic rules and regulations was held in the vicinity of the GDC Thindim Kreeri on 16^th of January 2024.  The programme was organised by the NSS Wing of the college at main junctions of Kreeri Wagoora and Tapper road. The NSS volunteers stopped private cars, commercial cabs/vehicles and two-wheelers and counselled them to follow traffic rules and regulations for their safety, as well as the safety of pedestrians and fellow commuters. Special emphasis was laid on urging drivers to wear seat belts while driving and avoid rash/negligent driving. Riders of two-wheelers were strictly advised to wear crash helmets and set an example for others to follow. The student volunteers were accompanied by NSS Program officer (Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Wani) along with other faculty of the college under the supervision of Worthy Principal, Prof. Kowsar Jan Peerzada.
