Under the aegis of Gandhi Jayanti celebrations today on 15th September, 2023 Govt Degree College Thindim Kreeri organized an extension lecture on truth and nonviolence under the supervision of worthy Principal, Prof. Kowser Jan. The resource person was Dr. Younis Ahmad Sheikh (Political Science). On this occasion the speaker highlighted the role Mahtma Gandhi played to spread truth and non-violence as his tools for India's freedom struggle against British colonial rule. The Speaker said that whenever we think of Mahatma Gandhi, two words come to our mind - truth and non-violence as he was a staunch believer in these two ideals. The Programme ended with vote of thanks presented by Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Wani.
