IQAC in collaboration with Department of Sociology of GDC Thindim Kreeri organized an extension lecture on “Women Empowerment” in the seminar hall of this college on 5th October, 2023 under the supervision of Worthy Principal Prof Kowser Jan Perzada. The program was inaugurated by the IQAC coordinator Prof. Syed Mustafa Shah who formally welcomed the guest speakers. The invited guest speaker was Prof. Fousiya Bisimi,(Sydney Australia). The speaker discussed the topic of women empowerment in detail. She also threw light on the local social outlook and the role of women in different spheres of life. Prof. Mohd Yaqoob (Assistant Professor, English) moderated the session and Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Wani (Assistant Professor, Environmental Science) presented vote of thanks.
