Govt Degree College Thindim Kreeri conducted a mega Swachhata Drive in the college campus and surroundings. The drive was flagged off by the Worthy Principal Prof Kounsar Jan. The NSS Volunteers, Eco Club Members, Students, faculty members and school children participated in the drive. The participants collected plastic wrappers, bottles and other non-biodegradable material from the campus and Govt primary School Kreeri. The participants collected around 83 Kgs of waste from both the places. The students were accompanied by Prof. Mohd Yaqoob, Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Wani, Dr. Aijaz Ahmad, Dr. Rouf Ahmad, Dr. Saqib Bashir. The biodegradable waste was segregated, and transported to the college where it was safely disposed off in the biodegradable pits.
