Today on 8^th March 2025, GDC Thindim Kreeri launched week long programme to commemorate “International Women's Day on the theme “Gender Equality: Accelerate Action” under the supervision of Worthy Principal, Prof. Kounsar Jan. The programme kick started with the welcome address of Dr. Zahid Hussain who set the tone for day long deliberations. The highlight of the event was the keynote address delivered by Prof. Kounsar Jan who provided an insightful overview of the history and significance of International Women's Day, emphasizing its relevance in our society. On this occasion,  Prof. Syed Mustafa spoke about the importance of gender equality and the need to continue striving for a more inclusive and equitable society. The event also featured inspiring speeches by students Bismat Qayoom, Dilshada Qayoom, Bisma Ashraf and Saima Ismail. Their perspectives and experiences added a personal touch to the celebration, resonating deeply with the audience. The program concluded with vote of thanks presented by Dr. Khursheed Wani. Dr. Wani expressed gratitude to all the speakers, guests, and participants for their valuable contributions. He also acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the organizing committee and volunteers. The celebration of International Women's Day was not only a tribute to women's achievements but also a call to action for continued progress toward gender equality.
