To commemorate the birth anniversary of legendary poet, thinker and philosopher Dr. Sir Mohd Iqbal Department of Urdu in collaboration with IQAC of this college organized one day Seminar on the Theme "Iqbal the poet of Universe”. The programme was conducted in the seminar hall on 9^th November, 2022 in which the students of various semesters participated with great enthusiasm. On this occasion Ranjoor Tilgami a noted poet and scholar was the guest speaker who deliberated on different aspects of Allama Iqbal’s poetry, its relevance in contemporary times and stressed upon the students to seek inspiration from the message propounded by the great poet. This was followed by a luminary speech delivered by worthy Principal Prof. Kounsar Jan who impressed upon the students to set their goals in life and focus on the three virtues, truth, justice, and valour quoted by Iqbal in his poetry. The students and faculty members also spoke on the occasion.
