The NSS and Department of Environmental Science of this college organized a public outreach programme to sensitize public about energy conservation on 30^th May 2023 under the aegis of mission Lifestyle for the Environment. Worthy Principal Prof. Kounsar Jan set off the contingent of NSS volunteers. During the Programme NSS volunteers holding placards depicting slogans related to energy conservation interacted with the public and created awareness towards energy conservation.  The volunteers also visited different households in the area and sensitized them about various energy conservation measures.  The programme was coordinated by Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Wani (HOD Environmental Science) and Prof. Syed Mustafa Shah (NSS Program Officer) under the guidance of Principal Prof. Kounsar Jan.
