GDC Thindim Kreeri in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Police organized an Orientation cum Training Program on Road Traffic management and Safety on 14^th December 2024. The programme was organized under the patronage of Worthy Principal Prof. Kowser Jan and was coordinated by Dr. Zahid Hussain. The representatives of the J&K Police namely Jenab Mujahid Nazir (DySP Traffic), Jenab Fayaz Ahmad (DTI), and Jenab M. Shafi (SHO Kreeri) participated in delivering awareness lectures. The programme comprised of two components viz. an in-situ lecture and training on traffic rules, regulations, safety protocols, and the law enforcement mechanisms, and a field training in which the students were taken to Kreeri marketplace and were made aware of the practical aspects of the traffic management and law enforcement. In the programme, the students learned both theoretical as well as practical aspects of the traffic management and road safety procedures.
