Under the aegis of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Government of India, GDC Thindim Kreeri conducted series of activities on 13^th August 2024. The event aimed to raise awareness among the masses particularly the youth about the dangers of substance abuse, reduce the incidence of drug addiction and promote healthy life style. The programme commenced with inspiring speech of Worthy Principal Prof. Kowsar Jan Peerzada wherein she highlighted the harmful effects of drugs and need to work collectively towards drug free nation. Saplings were also planted by the Principal Madam and students within the college campus. This was followed by human chain formation by the students and faculty members symbolizing unity against drug abuse. Online pledge ceremony was also held in collaboration with Department of Social Welfare UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
