In the run up to India’s 77^th Independence Day Celebrations, NSS Wing of GDC Thindim Kreeri organized a plantation drive under the banner Ek Paed Maa Ke Naam in the college on 10^th August, 2024 with an aim to enhance the green cover of college campus. The event was conducted in presence of Worthy Principal Prof. Kowsar Jan and witnessed active participation of students, faculty members, and NSS volunteers who enthusiastically planted saplings in the designated mini NSS Park. The first sapling was planted by Principal Madam followed by other staff members and NSS volunteers. Speaking on this occasion Worthy Principal appreciated the participants for their participation in the drive. She also highlighted the significance of conducting such drives for maintaining ecological balance and collective efforts towards beautification of college campus.
