The International Mother Language Day 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor under the theme "Languages Matter: Silver Jubilee Celebration of International Mother Language Day." This event was organized by the Department of Urdu in collaboration with the Department of Education on the 21^st of February 2025. The event commenced with an opening address by Dr. Syed Mustafa, (HOD Urdu) who served as the keynote speaker. Dr. Mustafa eloquently highlighted the significance of preserving and promoting mother languages, emphasizing their role in cultural identity and diversity. His insightful speech set the tone for the day's proceedings. Following the keynote address, several students took to the stage, sharing their experiences and perspectives on the importance of their mother languages. Their heartfelt speeches resonated with the audience, underscoring the value of linguistic diversity and the need for its preservation. The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Zahid Hussain.
