As part of the series of events conducted under the auspices of International Women's Day, the NSS Unit of GDC Thindim Kreeri successfully organized a plantation drive under the distinguished supervision of Principal Prof. Kounsar Jan. The event took place in the college park, where approximately 50 flowering plants were planted by NSS Volunteers and faculty members with the aim of enhancing the beauty and ecological value of the campus. The primary objectives of this plantation drive were to celebrate International Women's Day by promoting environmental sustainability, to welcome the spring season by enhancing the greenery and aesthetic appeal of the college campus, to raise awareness among students and staff about the significance of tree planting and nature preservation, and to foster a sense of responsibility and community participation in environmental conservation efforts.
