As part of ‘Swachta hi Seva' campaign, the NSS Unit and Eco Club of GDC Thindim Kreeri led by Prof. Syed Mustafa Shah (NSS Programme officer)  and accompanied by teaching and non-teaching faculty today cleaned polythene, litter and other waste material from Kreeri market and adjacent areas. The volunteers also interacted with shopkeepers and appraised them about the importance of cleanliness. Prof. Syed Mustafa Shah said that the message of Gandhi ji to ensure cleanliness in our surroundings is as valid today as it was then. He added that the slogan of Swachh Bharat Mission is a reminder to every citizen, that ensuring cleanliness around themselves is a great service to mankind. The campaign was highly appreciated by the local residents of the area. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Worthy Principal Prof. Kowser Jan Peerzada.
