As part of the series of activities scheduled under Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations, the NSS Unit of Government Degree College Thindim Kreeri organized a comprehensive campus cleanliness drive on 3^rd October 2024. This initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and instill a sense of responsibility among students towards maintaining a clean and healthy campus environment. The cleanliness drive was coordinated by Prof. Syed Mustafa, the NSS Program Officer, under the guidance of the esteemed Principal, Prof. Kowsar Jan. The event saw active participation from a large number of students who were eager to contribute to the betterment of their college environment. During the drive, students undertook various activities to ensure a thorough cleaning of the campus. They meticulously cleaned the classrooms, ensuring that all desks, chairs, and floors were spotless. The college ground, including pathways, gardens, and common areas, were cleaned and tidied up. Waste was collected and disposed of scientifically, following proper waste management protocols. The cleanliness drive had a significant impact on the overall appearance and hygiene of the college campus. It also served as an educational experience for the students, highlighting the importance of cleanliness and proper waste management. The event fostered a sense of community and teamwork among the participants, as they worked together towards a common goal.
